Our Long Bike was designed & fabricated locally by Unit Founder & Past Potentate, Hans Gerlach, in the 1980’s. Each section of the Long Bike is 23 feet long with 9 Nobles on each section. When all four sections are assembled the Long Bike is 92 feet long, with a total of 36 Shriners, providing the leg power to move the Long Bike.

We are an extremely colorful and exciting unit when we snake down the parade route with our small but colorful American flags located in front of each Long Rider. Our uniforms consist of our Maroon Shrine Fez, white shirt with the Long Rider logo on the back of the shirt, bloused black pants over white sox, and white sneakers. We are a real “Crowd Pleaser” at any parade we participate in.

We have appeared in parades all over the State of Wisconsin. We have also taken part in parades in New Orleans, Toronto, Las Vegas, Indianapolis, San Francisco, Denver, Washington DC, and many other cities in the United States. We are in the Guinness Book of World Records.

We are unique and in a class by ourselves. To continue the tradition of “Tripoli’s” Long Bike, we need the active support and help of all Nobles.
