The Tripoli Temple Director's Staff was established in 1920 by the late Potentate Dr. Chester M. Echols. At that time, it was known as "The Ringmasters" Unit. It was made up of electricians, carpenters, plumbers, mechanics, painters, artists, property men and stage managers; all of whom were Tripoli Nobles. Many of our members today are experienced in the trades and arts as well. These hard working Nobles still have the ability to create and improvise whatever may be necessary to produce and stage Ceremonials as well as many other things we are called upon to do.
The unit is quartered in the basement of the Mosque where we store almost all of the equipment and paraphernalia used in the Ceremonials. Here we can create, build, modernize and repair most of our gear.
The primary responsibility of the Unit is the preparation and set up of equipment for the second section of our Ceremonials. We also arrange the stage and attend to the many details necessary for presentation of the first and third sections.
The Officers of the Unit intend to continue the tradition of excellent service to the Nobles of this Temple. With your active support and help, this tradition of excellence is sure to continue.
Meetings: 2nd Friday of every month (except July & August)
